Once your setup fee is processed we will begin to process your work order within 24 hours. The typical time it takes to conduct research for your web site and make suggestions for any possible changes takes approximately 48 hours. Then after you make any necessary changes or improvements, we will submit your site to the major search engines using our proprietary methods for getting a site accepted by electronic and human editors.

The time it takes for your pages to show up in the search engines depends on whether a page was crawled to by the engine or submitted directly.

Be aware, that search engines sometimes go through various cycles of unusual operation. Excite and Infoseek, for example, have been known to index pages, rank them highly, then drop them off the index for 2 to 6 weeks, then bring them back. HotBot and AltaVista have in the past gone through several weeks when they would not list any new submissions. Like any other service, the search engines can go through times of technical difficulty so expect it when it happens or you notice anything unusual. The best defense against this is to resubmit your hallway page every week or two so that the engines always have something to get them started on a crawl of your site.
